Calgary
Calgary is very plain. Downtown is full of not-too-high skyscrapers. Between some of them there are "corridors" to avoid walking in the streets when it's too cold.
The little island called Prince's Island Park is very beautiful. There are Shakespeare plays in the evening, but unfortunately, the day I was there, it was cancelled. Anyway, I could enjoy seeing squirrels, ducks, sculptures, little bridges, colourful flowers...
There is a nice walk along river Bow. Lots of people go running, cycling, skating...
